The Power of Tragedy is the name of a blog I created about a year after suffering a traumatic spinal cord injury that left most of my body paralyzed. The name comes from the belief that tragedy, of all kinds, holds tremendous power. It holds the power to destroy and the power to transform. For myself, it catapulted me on a journey of spiritual discovery, evolution, and healing. In September 2021, I decided to start writing and sharing under a different name, Surfing the Muse, but the power of tragedy continues to live and breathe..
